We live in a time where most people don't believe in magic, and I think that's a real shame. Now, I'm not talking magic like a rabbit pulled from a hat, and I'm not necessarily talking about reading scrolls and summoning spirits either. Think of the world around you... I'm pressing buttons on a machine that is wirelessly transmitting symbols to another machine that will then upload this data to a massive, interconnected web of information that you will be accessing from another machine, perhaps thousands of miles away. We live in a very magical time.

Much like in the books of old, there is magic used for beauty and love, and magic used for pain and suffering. It is unfortunate that most of the tools for beauty that we have access to are also tools for suffering. I made the album art on my phone, that's magic. My phone spies on me to keep me in line in an awful, destructive capitalist society, that's suffering.

This album aims to be an exploration of how magic is all around us, in many varying forms, and how we as human beings have the magical capability to add meaning to objectively worthless matter. I have done my best to weave spells of beauty and majesty for you to experience. I want to make this world more beautiful, one piece of art at a time.

Please enjoy these songs. They are all very close to my heart. I've imbued them with as much meaning as possible and I can only hope that listening to them will produce some of the emotions in you that I feel when I listen to them.

This album is different from the rest of my work in that I did my best to stay away from traditional drums and percussive instruments. I think it made for a very unique sound. Please, enjoy.
